Education and training are readily available in Raleigh County from early education programs to higher education programs to higher education and technical trainig for adults. County training programs partner with industy to equip employees with required job skills.
There are four high schools, five junior high schools , and 18 elementary schools administered by the Raleigh County Board of Education. Below is a list of the elementary, middle and junior high, and high schools wothin the county. The county also has the Mountain State University and the Appalachian Bible College, four year degree institutions located in Beckley, and a vocational school.
